The Bodyshop supports the World Land Trust by contributing 1pence for every product purchased in store and online.
They have joined forces on a project called ‘Bio-Bridges’ which aim to restore 14.5 million square metres of rainforest in Khe Nuoc Trong, Vietnam. This will enable rare species to connect, linking habitats and enabling local communities to live sustainably.
The bodyshop have generously invested £130,000 to set up the scheme. By 2020 the World Land Trust and Bodyshop aim to restore 75 million square metres. In this area there is a mammal that is thought to be the rarest mammal in the world.
The bodyshop campaign is centred around ‘Reggie’ The Red Shaked Douc monkey, an endangered socialable species who is found in the Khe Nuoc Trong Forest and is looking for love!
The United Kingdom will be showing their support from 17th May. Show your support and visit http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/content/find-reggie-love.aspx to find out how!
